Ok, so I've put together a few air cooled machines before, and now want to go for H20. I've read the stickies, but I have some slightly unusual requirements. Please tell me what you think I should get.

I want to build a workstation whose primary use will be hardcore number crunching of astronomical datasets. I need something fast, but I also need something that will run with rock solid stability 24/7 with minimal maintenance. So I basically want a water cooling setup that does better than air, but is also as reliable as possible. I'd also like something thats straightforward to put together :)

Components I have:
QX9650
4Gb DDR3 (Patriot)
BFG 8800GTX with preinstalled waterblock
Asus X38 motherboard
1200W Thermaltake Toughpower

Components I want to get:
Water cooling components to cool the GPU and CPU
Case

Total Budget:
Say <$600 for case plus all watercooling components

Cpu block: Dtek fuzion or Apogee Gt
GPU: You already have that.
Radiator: Swiftech MCR320qp
Tubing: get something with 1/2id or 7/16id. Seen many people using tygon but I can not justify spending that much on tubing.
Reservoir: T line or Swiftech Micro
Pump: Mcp655/d5 or mcp355/350/DDC2 with custom top
Misc: Clamps, additive: hydrox or pentosin

Water cooling parts
Rad: PA 120.3 $135 JAB
Rad fittings: EK High Flow (G3/8 thread, ½” OD) $6 Pet
Rad Shroud: PA 120.3 shroud $19 JAB
Pump: Laing D5 MCP655 vario DD ver. $83 Pet
Res: EK-Multioption RES 100 rev.2 $34 JAB
EK Anti Cyclone: $2.50 JAB
Tubing: Tygon Silver 1/2x3/4 15’ $56 USP
T fitting for drain: Delrin T $8 Pet
Drain port: Delrin Fillport $12 JAB
Clamps: Stainless worm drive w/liner (15) $19 Pet
Biocide: PT-Nuke $3 Pet
Blocks:
DTek FuZion CPU $62 Pet
D-Tek FuZion Accelerator Nozzle Kit $7 Pet
Dtek FuZion Intel 775 Pro-Mount set $12 Jab
IONE for NVIDIA G92 GT and GTS $116 DD
NB block: Swiftech MCW30 Chipset block $28 Jab

Store code:
DD is Danger Den
Pet is Petras
Jab is Jab-Tech

Minus $$ for the GPU WB, minus $$ for the NB block, leaving you $$ for a case. It's all very top notch stuff, better rad by a long shot, not saying the MCR 320 is bad, the PA is better for sure, and for sure better with quiet fans. Even the hose I got is tops due to the silver lining to prevent uglies from growing in my loop. Only thing mising is 3 Yate Loon medium fans. Petras for Yates all the way.

My input, your $$, good luck.

You guys rule, many thanks. Going shopping now :)

Will post back with experiences in a week or so.
