Ok, so I've put together a few air cooled machines before, and now want to go for H20. I've read the stickies, but I have some slightly unusual requirements. Please tell me what you think I should get.
I want to build a workstation whose primary use will be hardcore number crunching of astronomical datasets. I need something fast, but I also need something that will run with rock solid stability 24/7 with minimal maintenance. So I basically want a water cooling setup that does better than air, but is also as reliable as possible. I'd also like something thats straightforward to put together
Components I have:
QX9650
4Gb DDR3 (Patriot)
BFG 8800GTX with preinstalled waterblock
Asus X38 motherboard
1200W Thermaltake Toughpower
Components I want to get:
Water cooling components to cool the GPU and CPU
Case
Total Budget:
Say <$600 for case plus all watercooling components
