Well thought i would take a stab at seeing howwell my computer and radeon 7500 would do on the 3d winmark 2001. Well let me give you my specs so you dont laugh my score out of the water.
PentiumIII Xeon 550 2M Cache
512mb PC100
2xAGP Radeon 7500OCed to 348.8/270
Well my score ended up being "2736 3D marks"which when i compared it to others on the madonion website didnt look to bad.
Had a couple of questions though???
I have seen cisco kid be able to raise his memory oc to around 500 and something, on my tweaker i can only go up to 349, well if i go buy some cooling, is it because i am using only 2xagp?
Oh and how long should you wait after you oc to high on you card and it stops working before you turn your computer on again???

Decent score I suppose.......
See if you can get the omega drivers if you are not already using them. www.omegacorner.com
Are you using powerstrip? The Radeon tweaker can be used to overclock as well also adding a few registry tweaks as well

Forgot to answer your mem question.
Are you doubling the memory score
example 200mhz ddr=400mhz memory

I am already using the omega drivers, and if i have the tweaker set to 270 i just double it because it is ddr memory??
also can anyone tell me if the fact that i am using 2xAGP, instead of 4X, would make a difference in my score??

Sweet spot on the clk is around 342-346 from feedback I have got from those with higher scores of madonion. Mem on some retail 7500 has reached 290ddr (580) , I have had my mem to 280 but that was with case open fan blowing on vid card and sliding glass window to my room open with heat off so I would say temp was about 50 deg in the room LOL and I got a tiny bit of artifacting on the last test and the second test. I run mine at 342/520-530 and it is solid as a rock.
You can get a higher score, I do not know much about the Xeon cpus, also try the beta 8500 driver (hacked Dell mobility driver it wil give you increase in 3D mark2K1 ) but you have to install manually through add new driver > have disk >select folder >choose 8500 as the card you have. I tried but had probs with my refresh rate on monitor but I did see performance increase

Enjoy your card btw what did you pay for the 7500?

I paid $150 at best buy, or somewhere around that figure. I have enjoyed the card so far, except for when it comes to everquest, it seems to have some problems with the game. My card is running stable at the 348.8/540 setting, my system has a lot of fans so my computer stays really cool, that and it sits next to my window, and its pretty cold outside. I think my lack of score is a result of a slow processor(unable to oc) and no ability to use 4x AGP.

7500 can be found online for like b/w 102 and 108 US but it is always convenient just to go out and buy it and bring it home right away, good purchase
