Hi,I have tried everything,I think it's my isp's problem, but,I want to be sure.
here is what I have
Linksys BEFSR11 -router (most current firmware)v 1.39
Linksys 4 port switch
Terayon cable modem, (Adelphia powerlink)
Linksys LNE100TX (pci nic) w most current drivers(new)
win ME clean install(recently)
all new cat 5 cables
4 pc's on home lan(hardwired properly)
this is a non-docsis system here :(
I think it works better with nothing entered in the "host" & "domain" boexes in the router.(any thoughts there?)
now, here is my question, what causes the "link " light on the router (the one that goes to the out of the modem) to blink sometimes?
it's the link light for the connection from the WAN port on the router to the 10base-t rj45 port on the back of the modem.
why does this light blink?
I know it's not the router or cat 5 cable, both have been replaced, and all the rf cables are new from the telephone pole to all the outlets for tv and one dedicated for the modem,(this was done because I have digital cable tv here).
sorry to ramble here, but I wanted to be sure someone has enough info to help me.
TIA :) Dan
