ok ok... i know i got a real gem (Actully a few real gems) :D
but, tell me a little sumpin about them!!!

here is the specs on the processor itself...

1st: its the smaller of the pentium 4s i think thats what indicates
it is a socket 478 ... and this is what is printed on the processor itself....

-----------------------------------
Intel
Pentium 4

2A GHZ / 512 / 400 / 1.5V
-----------------------------------

i guessing this is a 2.0 ghz w/ 512k of cache and 400mhz bus
with 1.5 volts from maylaysia ....but my real question is becuz it has 512k of cache does this mean it is a northwood cpu? and what is the difference between that the other (codename i forget it) ...also does 2A stand for 2.0ghz? and why is it 2A? not 2.0 and is there anyother differnces in this chip compared to the the 256k p4 2.0ghz then obviously the cache?

the 2a would seem to imply its a 2.0GHZ pentium 4-A cpu

intel traditionally use the "A" to denote cpus of the same speed with a newer architechture (see celeron 300a(medocino) and 533a(cumine) etc) which implies you have northwood. the 512k cache confirms this, as to my knowledge there are NO 512k willys
