Is this a sign of a bad XP unlock?

I unlocked my XP 1600+ yesterday. All was well until I restarted it, now it will only post about half of the time. My temps are 36 idle, 39 load. I had it at 1.6 GHZ and it is rock solid, I ran seti and 3dmark for a few hours and not a flinch. Just the no post thing. I have checked the bridges and they are not crossed and the pits seem to be filled though I am having a hard time telling. Perhaps I should refill them. Please drop a line and give me some opinions as I really hate taking the mobo out every time I unlock this thing because of teh Alpha hsf. Also, my power supply is an enermax 350W, the 5v line is at 4.98 under full load. TIA

Yes you need to get a DVM and check the resistance between each connector and across the connectors to make sure they are correctly connected and not cross linked. It is possible the solution you used to connect them got hot in the burn ins and melted alittle across or something like that.
