I just can't seem to enable anistrophic filtering in the open gl menu...Do I have to register it to enable it?

No, you don't need to register. Make sure that "disable support for driver options" isn't checked under the performance options.

Personaly, I prefer to use RivaTuner to set the driver settings, and powerstrip for everything else. Since powerstrip is made to work with alot of different video cards, he hasn't really catered it to any one in particular as far as advanced driver options go.

The only difference between the Pay version and the free version with Powerstrip is the 6 second Nag screen.

What card do you have?? If it's a Radeon 8500 PS will not allow you to enable maximum anisotropic under OpenGL at present. Not sure whether that's a problem with PS or the 8500 drivers.
