I have an AMD K6-II+ 450 computer system and I have purchased from tigerdirect, a Pine nVidia TnT Vanta 16mb AGP 2x video card. My question is how are the quality of these cards, any problems, compatability issues, etc... All I want if for is internet, some games, and some video confrencing.

I know some of the stuff on tigerdirect is pretty bad, but this was very affordable for what I am using it for.

they should be fine for internet and video conferencing, but unless you play games that are two years old it probably wont work out....

Lets face it! A K6-2+450 is not going to play the games that are brand new. So the size of ram is sufficient for me. I don;t have the time to play many games. Im usually working or repairing other computers.

My main question is, how is the quality of these cards? I have used many SiS chipset cards and had problems with the display fuzzing on the sides and a constant line that will run down the screen over and over. I hoped to get rid of this problem goin with the nVidia chipset.

I'm still waiting for it to arrive, the snow is slowing UPS down a bit.

I have a Pine TNT-2 32meg PCI card that I bought when I had a board that only had PCI. It has been a good card, obviously not top of the line, but it's video quality is good, and it is a decent gamer. Using NVmax really helped. It ought to be fine. I bought it from Tiger Direct as well.

PLS go to the fic web site http://www.fic.com.tw/ and go to FAQ on that M/B if will give you a list on card that will not work. I have one of these M/Bs and don't go over 16mb of video I have a 64mb and i had to disable my 2mg of cache for it to run. good luck
