I have looked all over for an orb cooler for my AMD K6-2+ 450 and cannot find one. Will a 370 fit on with little mods? My square el cheapo $9.99 coolers are junk! The fans last a few months and then burn up.
Plug the orb design looks like it would cool a lot better than the square. If anyone knows a website that has socket 7 coolers let me know because I have yet to find one.

orbs are crap,
don't get then.
i got a global win FOP32-1 for my k6-2 500, it worked very well and was quiet too.

I will put my Fop 32-1 with a 92mm Papst on my Socket7 CPU.
Then i can have the fan running at 5V and still have "good" cooling.
I believe Socket A/370 are meant to fit Socket 7 as well so get the near bottom of the line.
You K6-2 won't need any expensive cooling.
Get something quiet and efficent.
By the way if you want looks go for Orb's. If you want performance go for the big square heatsinks.
ThermalTake did catch your attention with the orb's look didn't it? :)
Cheers

Yes! your right, I never have the cover installed on my computer so I like the looks of the orb coolers. But I will take your advice of using a square heat sink. I just have to find some better quality units because the el-cheapo fans burn out and then "Fatal Exception", and you know the rest.
