Farcry x64ecu_for_x32os patch - how does it work?

Anyone ever try using this? I am kind of confused about it. I installed the farcry_x64ecu_for_x32os.exe on its own and see no difference in HDR or textures than the original game. So then I read on tweakguides here (http://www.tweakguides.com/Farcry_4.html) that you use this patch with the actual 64bit patches.

So I uninstalled it and tried installing the 64bit patches. I just get a "This is a 64bit patch!" error message. So then I once again installed the 64_for_32 patch and then tried to install the 64bit patches. I still get the same error.

How the heck does this thing work? I have hunted around but there is no info on whether the 64_for_32 patch is standalone or works with the 64 bit patches (other than tweakguides which is kinda vague) or how to get these to work :(

I got it to work quite awhile back . However there is a MS windows update that prevents it from working that must be un-installed . Sorry I cant remeber which one it is atm . :( I should also point out that the multiplayer will not work on the x64 version ( will not connect to FryCry servers) .

Try google to find the info . I'll also try and see if I can locate the info too .

I thought I just posted this but it didn't show up??? So if this gets double posted my apologies.

I got it to work. Turns out it was FSAA screwing everything up. Even if I disabled it in the in game settings it would renable itself??? Anyways I finally got it to work and I'd say it was worth it. Check these out :)
