I have a tbird 1100, currently @ 1166MHz.(106x11). Its a 200fsb CPU. How fast could I expect to reach with this?
I am thinking of taking the voltage as far as possible to get 133x11 = 1466, but even after putting it up as far as possible in the bios, it wont even boot at 112MHz. Could I pencil all the L7s to get 1.85v and then increase this in the bios as well - to 1.95v? Would this damage the processor?

All depends on the cooling......higher vCores mean higher temps....

The HSF is rated to XP1800+ or Tbird 1.4GHz - shoudl be OK?
I'm thinking more of the electrical problems of increasing voltages.

I'll said watch out that PSU.
I need to have enough juice...

What MoBo is it on & have you unlocked it properly? Got the same chip & mine does pretty well for a crap stepping.

*cough* jetway *cough* 663AS Pro with a KT133 chipset. PSu is rated at 300W but looking at the VIAHM the 3.3V and 5V rails are a bit weak - 5V is at 4.89 and 3.3V is at 3.23.

Chip has L1 bridges sliced.

The KT133 chipset will have a max FSB of 115 if your lucky. Wanna try something else? Forget FSB is life & unlock it! Multiplier O/C is just as impressive in my opinion.

Two problems:

1) The board doesn't allow mulitplier changes :(
2) To pencil the bridges I will need to take the HSF off. It won't come off. It took me an hour to get the thing on, and its as tight as hell.
