I liked McCullough's book 1776 so I'm looking forward to watching this when it comes out on DVD. No HBO here at school. :(

Saw the first episode. It looks like its going to be another great HBO mini-series. It's extremely rare that their productions are bad.

indeed it was very good, a bit slow at times, but very good, it will be purchased from hbo once it is on dvd :)

I love Paul Giamatti. If Philip Seymour Hoffman is winning "Best Actor" at the Academy Awards... then Paul deserves to be King of Scotland.
