What can i do to get rid/reduce the sqeaking in my chair. Every time I lean back, it squeaks. It's starting to get annoying

hmmm... i wish my chair only squeaked... the seat of the thing is being held onto the base with one screw (of four originally) the padding is all but worn away (in the words of the simpsons i have an a** groove)... if i had a nickle for every time the thing has collapsed when i was using it i could well... i could buy a new chair :D gluck with your squeaking but be thankful thats all thats wrong with yours;)

Man, I must be a freak. There's no WD-40 in the garage! :D I used some oil and it's sounding better. Thanks

Powdered graphite. Best thing to stop squeaks in chairs.
