Vista Ultimate HTPC Problem

Hi guys,

I've just setup me media center in vista ultimate, and it works great, as in i schedule to record and it turns itself on at the right time. however it doesn't hibernate when its finished recorded. How can i sort this ? I know its possible as a collegue at work has it working but he can't remember how :S

Do you have it set to go into hibernation after a specified amount of idle time? Other than using the MST (http://www.xs4all.nl/~hveijk/mst/indexe.htm) utility, I'm pretty sure that's the only way.

MCE Stand by utility linked by Jon rocks... it will get you going, but the stand by rarely hits because you are constantly recording... BLAH! Honestly I got mine set up for standby, but I dont know if its going into stand by... I think it is... but Ive never caught it...

hehe, when I have to start paying my electric bill is when I get more testing with it. Meanwhile the MST utility rocks, and continually gets better.
