Hmm... lemme try this again. :)

Check out my newest cruncher. :D As I told TC earlier, I can't stand to have these power cruncher parts sitting around waiting for me to return from my trip so I went out and spent $45 locally for a 300W Antec PSU to get this up and running. I think she's beautiful in her own way. See the wires hanging out the bottom? Power "switch". ;) Windows is installing as I type.

It kind of reminds me of Avant Garde art  it can be a conversation piece at your next dinner party :)

FYI, if you want a really cheap alternative go to home depot, they sell a Metal briefcase that is perfect for mounting up all those spares, 20$ last I checked. PSU, Mobo and everything fits in em all you would need to do is stack em, run em all with Nics and Just psu's. That would be a cool thing.

Brings new meaning to the term "desktop wallpaper" doesn't it?

My favorite computer case at the moment is the AMD Xtreme Performance cardboard box I got my XP in.......best part is the dual 400 mhz PII running in it!

One of these days I'll post some pics of my ghetto-modded network, just so everyone else can feel good about how their stuff looks!!:D

Hey now, I never said you could treat my old board like that! If you expect to get any more of my boards you treat 'em right and find them a nice case :D

I've got a nice RM with a dead Xeon on it waiting for a new board... ;)

lol Three cases are on the way. They'll probably come in tomorrow morning right after I leave. :( BTW, is this the processor that was running in that board before? BIOS was set to 8.5x145 for 1233... less than the rated 1333. :D I'm running at default for now with the Gladiator that was on my 866 (and that one now has a $10 Thermaltake and only a 4C increase in temps). Will bump her up higher tonight. VIA's hardware monitor is showing the 1.3 at only 39C load.

She's up and crunching now. Had to take a break to feed the kids. Finally finished Windows; installed the NIC; stole the board drivers, vid drivers, VNC, Spy, Driver, and CLC from the main rig (I think I could get used to this network stuff :)); and downloading the cache now. Anyone have a suggestion for two weeks worth of work? I just found out last night that I *may* be back sooner than that, but I don't want to lose any crunch time just in case.

roger: "Desktop wallpaper". Ha!

No that cpu wasn't paired with that board. I think I had the 1.13 tbird in that board.

Helluva way to start crunching. 1st WU: .005 process time. .14% done. Loads of spikes and triplets. #2 is chugging along fine, though. :)

You're kinda like a taxidermist for computers. She even has sort of a half smile. :)

I finally did the case mod needed to un ghettoize my Celeron system. What happened was the PSU died, and I had my dad order the part for me. He ordered the wrong one, which was to big to fit fully into the case. So using my creative side, tin snips, and good old brute force the PSU now fits into the case, and I can now put the cover on...I figure I will put it on later :)
