Nice, I may need a new drive anyway, mines been getting SMART errors for the past few months and could die sometime soon (why wait if its getting smart errors? I like riding things until they die. And I mean ABUSE things till they die...Im not making making myself look good am I?)

Local for me, got one over the weekend and getting another today for raid, should be a sweet replacement for the raptor I cut loose
just bought a 500GB WD 16mb with GCO 20 off. But I use that one for archive performance don'tmatter so much. This one with 32mb can serve as main drive. good price.

Gee, I wish a had a little more cash to throw around.
It would be great to finally get the storage I wanted set up.
I've only got a combined 1.5 Tb between my 3 computers.
But my 500Gb Drive is external USB and I don't trust it the rest are 3 - 320s and a 40.
Two 500Gb set up with a RAID 1 is what I want for my fileserver.

Looked nice with HDTach, but some of the tests.... eh...

true that the CDN $ is at par with the USD...but we were close about 3 or 4 months ago too, and the US prices were still destroying ours. now it seems as we are finally not getting screwed up here
