Considering the original price, it's a deal. And is that a BE for $169?
Honestly, its not worth the hassle of getting a free Mobo if its an ECS board. Stay away, I'm returning this combo today.

It probably isn't the BE. For -$20 and getting it today I'd go with the Fry's combo.

I stand by this.
That's a good price, but I'm still a little hesitant about the tlb errata. It could lock up your computer when you are least expecting it even if it is rare. Hopefully the B3s will be coming out soon.

BE is the unlocked multi... but they both clock the same... ~ 2.6-2.7ghz max
and you say im a fanboy because i wouldnt buy it even at 100 bucks.... then why did dell stop selling amd stuff?

by this I mean:
Dell isn't the only computer manufacturer out there; there are plenty that use AMD products.
in fact I just saw some ATi X1300 Pros available in the new Dell Vostro systems earlier today.
