I just got a Master System like a year ago. I think it is more fun to play the original on the original system with the original controllers. Especially since the one I bought came with the 3D glasses and the light gun :D

The light gun was the coolest design for a light gun ever, modeled after the Zillion weapon in the game of the same name (which is also one of the best games ever released for that console). Also, since you have the 3D goggles, look for Blade Eagle, it is an awesome shooter. Zaxxon isn't bad either.

If theres one game to recommend for the Master System for two players, its Spy vs Spy. Me and a friend would play that game for hours against each other. That and Double Dragon was another great 2 player game. If they are playable over the internet, those two games would be loads of fun and well worth $4 each.

Spy Vs Spy was great. Had it on the Commodore 64. Double Dragon is available on Xbox LIVE now.

I was personally a fan of The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey & Minnie. I loved that game. 2 player rocked.

I played it on the Master System 1 the really long console with the sort of pointy lightgun it was some sort of duck shooting game I swear it was on the MS. I also had WB3, OutRun, Transpot, Golden Axe (hated that version) Sonic 1 & 2 (couldn't get the hand glider to work most of the time) & loads of other games.

Let's re-release more crappy OLD games and charge way too much for them.

This is exactly my problem! Rather than releasing games for a system that was nearly a monumental failure when compared to it's counterpart, why not just release more GOOD games from older systems? I mean, there's a critically short list of RPGs available on the VC, most notably older Squaresoft RPGs like FFIII (IV . . . . whatever) Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana etc. What about stuff like Ogre Battle and FFT as well? Lets not forget Earthbound was promised but has still not been delivered yet. What about all the awesome games from the bloody N64 or Neo Geo? There's only a handful of games for both of those consoles, Nintendo. What gives? Surely there were more games on the Neo Geo than Fatal Fury.

It's nice to have a new system available, don't get me wrong, but why not expand on what we have first before introducing more crap?

$4 isn't bad. I went to the local shop here in K-ville where they have all sorts of old stuff back to the days of the old Pong machines and all the Master System cards and carts were at least $5 and in one event one was even $20 (some car racing game I'd never seen). I was looking for any of the 3D games to use with my 3D MS goggles, but alas there was none :(
