The first system in my signature is the one i am having problems with, ill be sitting here talking on msn and then my pc will just freeze, it is a little different fromt he one in my sig,

This system is extremely unstable and it is only when running non 3D things, it be benchmarked as many times as i want and not lock up at all.

Im thinkin it be the bios and i am on my way to fix that right now

Sounds like it could be an overclocking problem, or a temperature problem. My IE6 gets flakey after my processor crosses the 52c barrier, and if I send my FSB too high w/o raising my vcore, my system'll stall in the middle of things. Lower your overclock and see if the problem goes away. You have to remember that not all systems are alike.`

What kind of power supply are you using?

The first thing I would do is get all the latest drivers, windows updates etc. Then I would put everything back to stock speeds.

i agree..

try everything at default.. then oc thing by thing, till u start seeing where u get unstable. i had to do that for my vid card.. ive spent over 8hrs every night for almost 2 weeks, trying different things just to get 1 extra point in 3dmark.. well if u look in the vid card section i did a mod just to gain 3 :)

i am using a 300 watt spakrle power supply, and i have not been overclocked since christmas, i set my processor back to stock speeds due to a leak cin my water system from my dog chewing an external hose, i am looking into making a complete internal water system so it dont happen again, but with air cooling my temps never succeed 106F which is like 40C i think, i dont really think its my temps becuz i have been running for about an hour now with no side and i took the power suppy out because it was blocking half of my heatsink and i also removed everything else that was a heat source and put it outside of the case.plus i added 2 more fans and i am about to add a cooling duct to the processor.
