I just swapped VGA heat sink, as well as installed main memory heat sinks, and a fan controller. Now my digital signal doesn't work at all, and only one of my DVI connectors on my card works.

Basically the only way I am able to run my machine with the video working is to use my VGA cable with a VGA->DVI on the leftmost connector(facing connectors). Otherwise my monitor just keeps searching for a digital or analog signal until it gives up.

My machine post's correctly, and it worked(well i can't varify that both DVI connections worked) before the changes.... Is my graphics card in trouble could I have messed something else up... what gives?

It seems to work fine with the analog connection on that one DVI connector. The card squeeks a little every time I boot up.

Static electricity while installing that new cooler is a possibility.

I suppose that is a possibility. I was grounded by a wrist strap when I put it in though.

Did you instal it and then set it on the carpet for a little bit? Could you have scrached any traces?

Ok it turns out it must have been a monior/cable issue and not the card.... Not really sure why only one of the DVI connectors was working last night though. I switched out the monitor and everything seems to be functioning properly now. Thanks guys

haha the best part is after modifying multiple components in my case, I hit the power button.... and nothing. "Oh dear, I wonder which part is failing?" I thought to myself.

Turns the power connections to the motherboard were just loose :) phew.
