ive looked everywhere, and i really wanna lap a few sinks i have better then they are. home depot only had 400grit, and that still leaves fine scraches...

Auto stores like Pep Boys. That's where I got mine. You can also use toothpaste if you want. Heck, you can even use a sheet of paper. That'll be like 5000 grit

Go to your local Pep Boys or other auto body places. They have higher grits...up to the 2000 you are looking for!

My dad works at a 3M that makes sandpaper... :D
Wal-Mart, Pep boys, Autozone, Checkers, etc...

or buy a lapping kit with everything you need, sandpaper and the polish.

i guess ill check autozone then tomorrow. ;)
dudes get baking soda toothpaste. its grainier than normal toothpaste so use it as your pre buffer and then go to normal toothpaste.
i use crest with baking soda

i know canadian tire sells 2000 grit wet sandpaper, for sanding plastics, i am sure you could use it for lappin
