Prey wont boot

I just bought Prey (it's only 5 bucks today on Steam)

When I click to launch Prey, it says that The current video card / driver combination does not support the necessary features.

I haven't changed anything in a year, and I played CSS and HL2 just fine last I checked. I looked for new drivers on www.asus.com but there isnt a newer video driver.

any ideas?

they have the x1800 and the x1600 listed...but not the x1700

yea i just saw thats weird also ppl are asking for drivers for that x1700 ppl say either stick with asus or mod the drivers so it works on your card..weird how they dont have x1700 drivers :X

Try updating your video card and CPU drivers... I had a similar issue/error when trying to play Frontlines:Fuels of War. After updating the game started right up... Has something to do with multi core CPUS.
