DvD Burner will not eject

I recently did the Antec 900 mod that is in my sig and moved my burner down a few slots in the case to help with wire management and when all was said and done the thing has power and is recognized by the os, it just will not open when given the eject command by right clicking OR pushing the button. Did I break something or do I just need to take it out and give it the old fashioned treatment of bashing it and see if it works?

Try poking a paper clip in the small hole under the drive - thats the manual way to eject the drive. Also make sure the IDE cables are in right, not upside down and jumpers are set correctly.
