how do u do it?
Your video card runs on core speeds and memory speeds.
You download a specific tweaking program for your card and it'll allow you to adjust those core and mem speeds up thus overclocking it.
Cooling may need to kick in if you have modern cards.
Yodums.

I use powerstrip...

I prefer NVMax if you were on a nVidia card.
I used it.

I just downloaded the new drivers for my voodo 5 and it comes with the ability to overclock it on 1 of it's tabs...........i have overlcocked it quite a bit. The default settings for it were 166/220 and I have it set for 173/220..........I dont see any differnce in any games or 3dmark2000............Any ideas? I only see like a 200 point difference in 3dmark2000. What could be wrong. Should I download specifically a overlcoking software program????? Plzz help!

Try sticking a nice HSF on it, and push it even further. I used to have a Voodoo 3, but i pushed it too far one day and may it rest in peace. Now I want to see how far I can push my GeForce 2 Ti200 64mb DDR.
What you want to do when overclocking a card is try to cool it as best as possible.
You'll want to add better cooling to the core and ramsinks if necessary.
People overclocking video cards focus more on overclocking their memory speeds since people will buy newer cards for lower NS ram.
You know you reached the limit when you see artifacts, or experience freezes through intense 3d.
