View Full Version : Q6600 4GHz 446x9 DDR2-1070 Settings
Have any of you gotten the 446x9 settings W/1070 DDR2 on a Q6600 to boot an OS? If so how many volts is the CPU/MOBO going to need to boot the OS and run a benchmark or 2?
I tried a cpu core of 1.5475volts in the bois and vista64 would not load.

Did you increase northbridge voltage. If you setting memory voltage try 2.1v or 2.2v. Get yourself memtest86 and test memory.

Ive had problems similar to this with my 680iLT, but it ended up that taking my memory down by 20 Mhz fixed it. Not really sure what it was, but I run my q6600 at 3.0 Ghz for 24/7 use, so I havent got around to figuring it out.
But it freezes at that exact same spot, so i'd try that if you get the chance.
