I have a Geforce 2 GTS, and I recently jumped into overclocking it. Stock speed is 200/333. I have it at 210/400 right now. A nice overclock if you ask me - faster than a Geforce 2 Pro (200/400). Well I can run through 3dmark2k1 easily. i was wondering if there are any programs that stress the vid card a lot. Like a prime95 for vid cards... if anyone knows of any - let me know.

Intense 3d games.

Max Payne
Unreal Tournament.

Loop run for 3dmark 2001 for about 12 hours. Of course running through it once maybe easy but people get the crashes after hours of running it.

Try the Quake 3 test;

well I just ran through 3dmark doing 30 of each test. took 2 hrs and no lock ups. I'll push it farther tomorrow, maybe I can get a "TI 200" out of it @ 250/400 :cool: We'll see.

oh yeah, with the GTS the ram speed is more important, i would rather hit 445 ram than hit 350core because the bottleneck is the memory bandwith.....dont focus on the core man....

i apologize to be out of line here, but my gf2 ti with ddr memory isnt going anywhere. i oc'd the mem to 420 from the default of 400... it isnt making any imrovements in 3dmark instead it cost a drop in scores... hmmm...

You can also try Artifact tester (http://www.voodoofiles.com/4107) to test you card's settings and see if you get artifacts.

It leads to Voodoofiles and at the bottom you can download it. Dunno maybe it works sometimes, lol. I didnt want to link to the proggy directly because some websites dont like it.

Yah I hear yah but when you hit download from Voodoo files it is a dead end :(

Interesting as I used to use Artifact tester and determined it was useless as it didnt show any artifacts but when you used 3dmark2001 there were artifacts, looks like they greatly improved this utility as it now seems pretty accurate :)

hmm, thats dissappointing. At stock speed, my 3dmark2k1 is 3900 somethin. At 210/400, I got 4549. I increased the memory about 10 mhz at a time and gained 100+ points sometimes.
