Can anyone point me towards a good bois flash that i can use for my powercolor 3870xt?

its already factory oc'ed to 800/1170 and the ccc overdrive clocks it to 875/1270 and i havent had any artifacts yet!

the one thing i am having is a 'atidmag' driver stopped working error, periodically, depending on the game, but mostly fps's!

i believe the performance difference between stock and the oc'ed value is well worth the trouble of flashing the bios if that would work!

do you think it will work or is there another problem maybe that im missing?

i dont get the error at stock so im assuming its the oc! although i do get it at lower oc's around 850/1225!

everytime its happened ive tried to get a temp reading and get out of the app asap using alt/tab but ive never caught it over 58'c pretty much instantly from the error. so what do you think???

hey im having some similar problems as well..... I get that driver stoped responding as well when im on anything above stock clocks....from what im thinking its something hardware related because i have s1 on my 3870 and my temps never hit 50C on full load yet i get game crashes. Unfortunatly for me I have two Visiontek 3870 and one doesnt seem to be stable at 805 and 1200 anything above i get an error either like yours or driver stopped working and the other is fine up to 840 and 1251 after that i get the same errors no matter if i enable crossfire od disable run one card or both if you find some info or a solution do share i will do the same as for bios's I have a few of them but nothing that really works well for me at least.....I also have a visiontek factory bios which seems to be newer its 7.13xxxx while the others i thing are 7.10xxxxx if your interested in it let me know..(didnt do much for me)

@prpz, ive heard that it may be down to the psu if you've got everything else oc'ed, it just cant handle it with everthing else! so you may want to try putting your other oc's back to stock and test it to see!!!

Could be PSU, or the card just isn't stable at that OC. My 3870 won't go above 810mhz core (it's stock clocked at 800). I get a little more OC from the memory but not much (also stock clocked 1170mhz). The PSU I use is getting a little old (Neo 480W) but the rails in the BIOS system monitor seem solid enough I don't think it's more than the psu can handle. I just think these stock overclocked cards are already near the top of what they're going to be able to handle.
