Well after the long wait for stock to come in Our Arctic Freezer7 Pro Coolers finally arrived, and after a few hours of cleaning up the Wife's PC's wire management she also is sporting one of these fantastic Coolers.

The Wife's PC - P4 3.2Ghz - Before

And After with the AC-7pro installed & wire managed ( there wasn't allot I could do to the wire management in this case being m-ATX and the right side panel and top are one piece and are not removable )

And My CM-690 with its New AC-7pro installed

Also changed the rear fan to Thermal Take 120mm Smart-fan and move the CoolerMaster 120mm to the drive bay to allow fresh air towards the AC-7
Now only cool air coming from rear exhaust vent.

The Temps Now are around 20C-23C idle and 33C-35C @ load while Folding ./fah6 SMP in Ubuntu Vmware
Before temp @ load were 55C-60 when Folding.
And even Higher (60C-70C) when our ambient Summer temps got to 40C-44C then I would usually shut down our systems till it got cooler in the evenings

So Yes the investment was well worth it, and so was the wait , lol

How/what did you use to mount the fan on the northbridge heatsink?

Very nice wire management on your CM690, I like it! And those AC freezers are nice for value, they are very inexpensive compared to many others. Congrats! :)

Great job. Yes, I have 3 of these AC Freezer Pro 7s and they rock. I just wish the S775 HSF push-pin mount wasn't so finicky. I much prefer the AMD locking-lever HSF mount.

I used two 3mm x 25mm metal thread dome cap screws similar to the ones sometimes shipped with Case fans, couldn't use 4 due to the heat sink cross fins so just settled for the 2 and they are just the right size and are tight.

Thanks all for the comments

Is that a 40mm or 50mm fan?

Reason I'm asking is b/c I want to do the same to my DS3L.
