Using the same drivers?

So I got my 8800GT today. I'm still at work, but once I get home I plan to install it. I was just curious if its okay to use the same Omega drivers that I currently use for my 7600GT or should I reinstall them before switching them out? I'm not sure if it would cause any performance drops or something. *scratches head*

Take all the old drivers out FIRST, before you put the 8800GT in.

Then hit up Nvidia or EVGA and get the latest ones after your 8800GT is installed.

Leaving the old drivers in will give you a headache.

Well the thing is I think the Omega drivers will end up being the same version for the 8800GT as well. So using the same drivers I wasn't sure if it would cause any headaches since its just uninstalling and reinstalling the same ones. I guess I'll do it anyways since it shouldn't take more than a few minutes of my time. Thank ya. :3
