Hi all,
Sorry for the long absence. My dad was diagnosed with cancer and we had to make some arrangements as a family. He is responding well to chemo and we are all hoping for the best.

possibly the only good thing that has happened this year is my business has gotten much better (computers) and I've been really busy and really have not had time to to come visit. Well I got a few PM's about shirts and figured it was time to come home :D.

Glad to see some of the new power on the team. I'm going to have to do some reading as to clients and settings as i now have access to 20 or so p4's that I can harness for the team. As for the home farm... thats sadly been diminished. It will be rebuilt over the summer.

ok shirts.
If there is enough interest in the old folding shirts I would GLADLY do another run. I would need at least 12 orders but 20 or so should keep the prices about where they were. This is as it has always been cost+shipping. Nothing is added.

I have also done a design based on this logo
http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d26/Nahmus/crest1latinis7.jpg
for those people who did not like the pirate design or could not wear the pirate design at school. I will finish up the design and post it up to see if any are interested. Are there any new artists on the board? should we do another design contest?

All in all its was a rough start to the year but hopefully things will get better.

Nice to be back :D

Glad to have you back nahmus. I think I just posted something just the other day about missing your illustrated stories about your most recent borg/overtake. Really sorry to hear about your dad. It seems like folding is for a completely different reason when it hits that close to home.

Welcome back, my friend!! I wish the best for your family!!

Count me in for at LEAST a few (again). I thought I bought 4 or 5 the last time (SS LS and Hoodie), and plan to do the same - only this time I think all 3 of my brothers want one as well as my girlfriend. I'm a major ****.woot guy too, so I love this design!

I can't wait!! :) Just in time to bulk up with more clothing. I've been throwing out all of my faded fraternity T-shirts from college that I got between 2001 and 2004. All I have now is mainly about 20 (yes 20) woot T-shirts, lol.

Sounds good to me. I'll be in Glasgow from about August/September so shoot me a PM if you'll be anywhere around the west of Scotland.

Here (http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=5571684&postcount=19) it is. I knew I had posted it around here somewhere. Again, glad to have you back nahmus, and best wishes to your dad.

thanks guys. I will pass along the wishes. :D

as for the shirt I will be going through the old shirt threads. I was thinking that logo for the front and a world map outline on the back with a T32 in all countries we are in and some wording either above or below. I'm not sure how that will work out. I suck at photoshop so its taking a while to get something I'm happy with.

Oh and there will be a new borg picture thread soon. I will wrap up the story of the evil office manager.

Wow, that is some picture!

And welcome home nahmus :)

for the record that picture was found by another member. I'll have to dig up who it was. And another member helped with the latin. I believe it says folding team 32 in latin across the bottom.

I wouldn't was anyone to get the idea that I have any actual artistic talent. I'm amaxed that the pirate shirt came out as well as it did.

It looks like there is enough interest in the pirate shirts for another run. I have to get in touch with a few members here, or friends that are better than i am in photoshop for the back half of the shirt. I'll post up my ideas and we'll do another shirt run. I'll submit them together to see if we get a break. I will also check on prices.

I was browsing some of the newbie threads and found a link to this. I would totally buy pirate logo shirt, maybe a hoodie if anyone decided to do this again.

--EDIT--
Whoops wrong thread

Just to give everyone an update. Dad had surgery to remove the tumor and finished the last round of chemo. All indications are that he is in remission. All of the tests so far have been clean. It looks like they found it in time and the aggressive treatment seems to have worked. He's almost back to his old self.

thank for the well wishes all :)

Dude, that's GREAT NEWS!!!

My mother had thyroid cancer in the beginning of the year. I was so scared, but didn't show her that... I played it off like it wasn't a big deal, that she was strong and could get through it. They removed half of her thyroid and despite some complications she seems to be doing well! :)

that is some seriously good news. CONGRATS! Hope all stays well with her.

I know its hard to be in that position but keeping calm I think helps alot.
