RAID...OMG i asked a question thats like been asked 2834 times

ok..a serious gamer....serious have tons and tons of stuuf on my hd, i have two 60 gig wd 7200 hd. now i have an epox 8k7a+ with raid. i want to know if i set them up too raid. first i have no clue how to set up an raid. which raid would be better. i want fast write and access times. i would say raid 0? i would like any info you guys have on raid.

raid 0 is your best bet for performance...but you will have to format the drives....your motherboard should come with RAID installation software

you can't really have fast access times AND fast read times on RAID. You get one or the other.

Fast write times comes from RAID 1. Fast read times come from RAID 0.

I'm a pretty serious gamer too....RAID 0 is what I use.
