well i finally got tubing and put everything together and tried to leak test it and i notice basically all the water in my res was gone as soon as i hit power button so i stopped it as soon as i saw that and refilled it with water and now 2nd time its gone again =/

so i dont know this is my first time doing this and i can see the water pushing through to rad but its not coming out to fill the res up??

any ideas?

is there a in and a out on rad or it doesnt matter cause this is how i have it

rad > Res > pump > cpu > rad

you probably have a lot of air in your system and as the pump runs the water is pumped through the radiator and the air rises to the top of your loop, which if set up correctly is your res. Keep filling it up.

I installed a new radiator last night and it took me about 40 minutes to refill my loop, because I forgot to fill the radiator before attaching it to the loop. As long as your res is at the top of the loop, then the air is going to rise there. It may take a little while to fill, but it'll get done. There's no need to drain your system, just fill it back up every time more air rises to the top.
