ok I have in my possesion 8 110VAC fans all about 120mm now they are split in two groups because they are on thier own mounting plates... I can take them off the plates or I can use the plates.....
I have a really small case right now (barely fits an ATX mobo), but I want to mount these....
oh yea.... their also REALLY loud
Can anybody give me good ideas on how I should mount these so that thier quiet?
hmm...well first off...you said there 110VAC..so your gonna need a bunch of power cords..lol..second...If there Really Loud..no matter how you mount them, there gonna be loud still...and 8 120mm fans is an awfully large amount of surface area..are you sure you want to mount all 8?...in a case that small your gonna have lots of trouble getting them all to mount. My suggestion is that you buy a larger case, 8 120mm 12VDC fans, and build it that way (just my suggestion...if you can spend the money)

Two of them(one intake, one exhaust) would be enough for a Mid. As a rule, PC's don't like AC current in them. It's noisy.

Thanks both, I'll keep that in mind.... I wish I could mount all 8 but if I did I wouldn't have a case.... I'd have a floor fan/computer/white noise generator
I'll figure something out....
