So I have a 750gb hdd in the mail I paid $129. It should be here monday (Missed delivery today)
Someone is selling a 1TB drive for $120, sealed, NIB.
OK, so would I be entitled to a full refund from newegg minus shipping or what ?

maybe a re-stocking fee too. RMA it and tell the you weren't satisfied with it as the reason. I just did this with a PSU that was crap.
They have a 15% restocking fee for returns like this, so it's not really worth it. You would have to pay shipping to return it too.

The first time I returned an item I outright told them that I was just too hasty and bought the wrong item (RAM for my brother's laptop). I talked to a rep on live chat and she waived half of the restocking fee for me as it was my first time returning an item through them. It's worth a shot for a $120 item.

For 250 more GBs, I'd probably even be willing to bite the restocking fee.
yeah, i would eat the restocking fee since that is a really good deal on a TB HD.

Actually I recently had a customer service rep tell me over the phone to refuse the shipment. Once they recieved the package, they automatically assigned a rma to the items and I was eventually issued a full refund (no restocking fee).
