None of my rigs are downloading new tasks or reporting finished ones. Is there some problem with BOINC?

Yes, so far I've been able to upload, just no new work.

We continue to have workunit storage server problems but hope to have the machine replaced today (but may not have it on line until tomorrow). Until this new system is in place workunit downloads will be disabled."

Hence the reason a lot of us set our download cache to 10 days ...! ;)

Good idea. Is that setting in the preferences/network area?

Downloads started acting up as I was bringing my main rig back on :bang head
Cache didn't get fully loaded, and now out of work. I decided to throw another folding wu on and crunch something.

I still have about 6-8 work units left on my laptop. Since it had been folding for the contest, I had let it run down on work and after the contest was over it didn't get a whole bunch of fresh wu's before the servers started acting up. I figure it will be out of Seti work by tomorrow.

I was lucky I guess. I turned to quad up to three SETI cores after folding and left the extra core to finish out the folding units. I should be good for a few days ...

Well, finished my folding wu and fired Seti back up. Cache is loaded and crunching again.

Life is good!:soda:

I checked last yesterday about 4pm PST and found downloads starting so I fired up the machines here and got the rest up at home. All are cruunching away and have 10 days worth of work cached. :D

Looks like it's all working for me. Just in time for me to get my single core rigs switched back over to SETI.

Server Status
Our BOINC database server crashed this morning around 10:30am California time. It is in the middle of recovery now. We expect the project to be back up sometime this afternoon.
