[COLOR=blue][FONT=times new roman][SIZE=3]What's the difference, which is better, and are these compatible with the same chipsets? I have a dual slot one P3C-D ASUS motherboard (i820 Chipset), and will be using slockets to use the socket 370 processors. Does anybody have any idea if these will work? or if there is any way to make this work? I am not the only one in the forum asking this question. Several others are asking this as well, so I leave it to the Intel guru's to help us out. Do I sell, or keep these processors, or buy an adapter? Its been bugging the heck out of me trying to sleep when I dont know if I just blew a few hundred dollars or if it was a good deal. If they do work, this thing will scream when I am done with it, I will be using a pressure / vapor type cooling system (Air conditioning) for my CPU's, Chipset, and videocard (Oxygen GVX-1). I hope its all gunna work out.:burn:
The FC-PGA coppermine CPUs come in two flavors, Celeron and P-III. The Celeron will NOT work as dual procs, but the P-III do work in dual proc configurations.

as powerleaps website stated that they got the celeron 1.2ghz
procs running dual mode using their adapter.
i have the intel vc820 mobo and i am awaiting word on the price of these adapters to see if it feasible to run the asus p3c-d
motherboard, if it is the i will order 1 mobo and 2 adapters

The 1.2 gig Celerons are not Coppermines, they are Tualatins.

Powerleap has a FCPGA to PPGA adapter they say work with slockets. They claim to support 133 fsb also. They claim its a drop in CPU replacement adapter, they also claim it has a built in CPU protecting Diode. they are like 25 bucks each. thanks again for the powerleap info.
