whats the best driver for 8800

i generally found that BETA drivers are the best to go with.. however, your best bet is to just grab one (either the latest WHQL or beta) begin OCing and then play and see which one works better. As for that card, i couldnt tell ya, i have a 640MB GTS.

i was using the 174.74 seem to be the best i have used in a while, but now im testing out GeForce 174.85 beta drivers so far so good seems the same as 174.74 but im still testing them =]

Actually I've tried a whole suite of drivers and for the G92 GTS the 169.21 still yields the best performance, give it a try.

i was using the 174.74 seem to be the best i have used in a while, but now im testing out GeForce 174.85 beta drivers so far so good seems the same as 174.74 but im still testing them =]

how do you get these 174.74 to work as it says it dont recognise my 8800gts?

Did you run the setup.exe file once you downloaded it? It should install with little effort.

Awww....I guess I miss understood you. I thought you wanted to run 174.74 bios on your 8800gts.:confused:

So what exactly are you trying to do....mod the bios?
