Just as the titles says I am wondering if the Ps3 will do enough units to be worth runing Folding@home on it ?

I think it is worth it, I am running mine 24/7. We have a tendency to accept any amount of PPD, and welcome all new rigs to the cause, unless they can't make deadlines. It will average you somewhere in the neighborhood of 900-1100 PPD, as long as you set it up to do advanced units, make sure music is off, and have it switch to the screensaver after a period of time (although I think it does automatically anyway). If you have any questions setting things up feel free to ask.

As stated 900ppd.
Why would you give it a break?
Over a year solid here, a few days of downtime if it needed an update and I noticed otherwise nothing.
Just keeps chugging :)
Simply hit run, and assign team to 32. Takes 5 seconds :)

The only time mine is turned off "from folding" is when I watch a BR game. Oh and maybe once in a blue moon when I want to play warhawk.
