Omega vs Regular nVidia

Which drivers are better Omega or nVidia?

I'm using an XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog on Windows XP

I am wondering which is better for picture quality and higher frame rates (gaming)

I have not seen much difference between the two to make me use one or the other.

Not really Nvidia, but I've had success with the ATI Omega drivers for very old video cards (especially integrated and laptop GPUs).
