Hello,
I hope to fit in here, because i don't know much about computers but i wish to learn more :o
I got a 1-AMD Thunderbird, 800MHz, but i wish to buy a 1800Mhz.
A friend told me if i buy a new processor i need to buy new mobo and RAM. Please help me, i need to know what Processor, RAM and what mobo i need.

Well, if you still want to go AMD...they don't have any 1800MHZ...yet. There should be some soon, like in Feb. You must be thinking of the Athlon XP 1800+...which runs at 1.57. Anyway, yes, you will need a new Mobo (motherboard), new RAM, and a new HSF. Hope this helps...do research on MoBos so you can see which one you want.

Asus,Iwill and Epox are just a few of the quality DDR boards that you should look at, I would reccomend XP 1800+ OR 1900+ CPU, KINGMAX PC2700 memory and a quality heatsink with a 38CFM or greater fan.
Epox boards(8K7A and 8KHA)) are my personal favorites but you should read the specs and make your own decision.
