No Unlocking?

Why didnt i have to unlock my 1.2Ghz Athlon when i overclocked? im running stable at 1.5, its an "ayhja" stepping

Many 1.2 and on T-Birds came unlocked for some odd reason. I have a same stepping 1.33 that is unlocked as well. Not sure if it was a little treat from AMD becuase of the headache of the XP's? More likely a way to cut production time..and cost of CPU's by omitting the L1 section of each CPU from the Laser process used to cut the bridges.

I bet your not complaining though eh? ...me either! :D

yeah my tbird is the same way but i think the steppings are a bit different
