I've been getting a ton of these small point WUs?

15 point WUs? When did this start happening? I realize that the majority of my machines are non-SMP but this is wierd.

I had 2 WUs turned in today for a total of...19 points! So I'm guessing that one of those were a 15 pointer and the other could have been a 4?

Most of the machines I have are on relatives PCs who want to see the graphical client running, so thats what is installed. Any ideas why Im getting these or are you guys getting them too?

I was getting a bunch of those also...the only machines I have running SMP are the ones in my room, and they weren't coming from those, so it must be the 5.04 clients (or older) that are getting them. I had 1 10 pointer turned in today, another day I saw a 4 pointer, and some other low numbers as well.

yeah I get those all the time at work, old clients on slow rigs . the Dells at work are over 5 years old , so that tells ya how slow , and only 256 mb .

I have one machine that is Windows NT and when I installed the text only version 5.04 (I finally figured out how after going through the nightmare of SMP installation), I noticed that the F@H program reported how much RAM was in the system...

I think F@H reports what type of PC is running the program to Stanford so they sent certain types of WUs to those machines I bet.

In the last update at EOC ( http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_list.php?s=&t=32 ) You can see my Folding results for 9 PM...

I turned in 5 WUs and each of them were worth just 1 single point... :bang head thats it, just one point!!?? I have not seen point values this low since the days of Genome@Home before the main F@H thing ramped up.

I know it can be frustrating.

But remember, they all gotta be Folded by somebody.
We'll (T32) will Fold anything they can throw at us !

You know that as well as I do.
And the faster we get through them, the sooner they'll be gone!
(my work borg is now getting them)
