Xp Question

Here is a pic of my performance menu right after start-up. Could someone explain this better to me and also tell me if it looks good or bad.

what woulda cha like to be explained? The cpu usage is how much of your cpu cycle is being used. The physical memory is how much memory u have available. The totals are how many things are going on in the background. :D

That is one of the ones that gets me. Shouldn't I have more memory available? I have 512mb installed, but it shows almost half being used?

actually, isn't that showing that you're only using like a quarter of your ram? by those numbers, you have about 74% free i think :rolleyes:

The RAM graph is just what you're using currently. For XP, thats alright. Right now I'm using about 145 Megs of 384, but I've also been up for about 3 days and running a webserver (albeit a small one)
