identifying this motherboard

its a dell optiplex gx300, intel piii 733mhz 820 chipset, I would like to know where to find the info online or how to identify physically, also if known is it possible to overclock this board? thanx

Check in the bios or on the startup screen ( where it displays the cpu speed ). You should be able to find some info on what model board you have. If that fails then you could try and go to dell's homepage and look for a picture of your board. If you want to overclock it then you will most likely have to change the cpu jumper settings or in your bios ( can't be sure ). Your motherboard manual would be helpfull. Hope you have it....

Dell are endorsed by Intel so they usually use Intel boards.

Use Sisoft Sandra and use the "Mainboard Information." and it should tell you.

More than likely it is a Dell/Intel clone (proprietary).

ok here is a detailed summary of this system, the board supports 2 cpus but has only one installed, im am wondering if it is possible to overclock the coppermine piii or FSB
I am not knowledgeable about adjusting any settings via a program such as CPUCool so a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated
