I normally don't consider signing up for a credit card just to buy something...but if you sign up for a Revolution CC, you get $50 off first purchase over $51.

Buy.com price for 40gb PS3 is $398.00, with free shipping.

I got mine for $364 after taxes. I also got a good rate from Revolution, but will pay it off immediately anyhow.

Can obviously be used for things other than a PS3, but as of right now its the best PS3 deal around.

Why bother? You get a HUNDRED bucks off if you order the thing from Sony's website and get their credit card (which is a Visa).

This is what I did. It'll be $300+tax after I get my $100 credit. Much better deal.

I read about that, but it didn't appear to be that cut and dry. You had to keep the balance for a certain number of months, couldn't pay it off right away, other crap too. They also were offering poor rates, or they did to me, and I have stellar credit.

I buy and flip condos for profit in one of the most expensive counties in the US, and they offered me a card at 26%!! The Revolution was well under 10%.

You got screwed over lol. Seriously i think it is an avergae card as they don not have annual fees on it and the interest rate for my cousin which has good and not perfect credit was 14%.

My guess is that as you are flipping condos, your credit might be excellent. BUT if you just happened to buy a lot of hardware, pay for labor, and or buy properties, they will give you an higher interest rate as your FICO will go down.

The rule of thumb is to never use more than %30 of any of your card if you want to have perfect credit. (also pay on time)

Hey nice post, bro.

I'm also considering getting a PS3 only cause Metal Gear Solid 4 is around the corner. Or I just might wait until they offer a reasonable priced bundle. That game will be super eye candy.
