My GF2 Ti doesn't OC much without artifacts... edit: distortion followed by lock-up. I'm going to reseat the Blorb to see if that helps.
What I'm wondering is if I change my bios setting for AGP from 4x to 2x will that help me to OC the card better? Will it impact my 3dmark scores significantly?

Leadtek GF2 Ti @255/460 from 250/401
Athlon XP 1.4 @ 1.544, FSB 147

Yes, many times lowering your AGP from 4x to 2x has helped in video card overclocking AND cpu overclocking.

The difference between 4x and 2x is negligible.

But hey, why not just go and give it a try. Won't harm anything.

Most of the time, at least from my experience and I own a CL Annihilator 2 (GTS), Gainward GF2 Pro/450 and PNY GF3 Ti200 plus many other 3DFX cards (V2's,V3 and V5), artifacts are caused by memory, not GPU. If your GPU is overclocked to high the system will usually lock/hang or freeze. If the memory is to high or to hot you'll get those wonderful little sparkles, texture tearing etc... Again, from my experience.............

Do you have any ram sinks on your mem or a separate fan blowing on the card? If I remember correctly, the GF2 ti's, at least most of them don't have ram sinks.

The blue orb will help the GPU but not the mem, with the exception of possibly pulling air across the ram to get to the orb.

What speed is the mem, i.e. 5ns, 4.5ns, 4ns etc.. You can only get so much out of particular mem speed without extreme cooling. You might be at the mem limit. I know with my Annihilator 2, I couldn't get the mem past 365 no matter what, with ram sinks/fans etc. Mem limit.

I believe the Leadtek GF2 Ti200 has 4ns memory and I forget what the theoretical limit of 4ns is (I'm sure someone will say) but you might be pretty close to it and a lot has to do with chip yield. My PNY has 4ns mem and can reach 565 before artifacting but I’ve seen other PNY owners of the same card just barely able to reach 520, again, chip yield.

I believe this memory is 5ns... I've got it working at 520. I just can't get more than +5 MHz from the GPU. Any higher and it locks up. 3dmark2k1 5698

2 80mm side-mounted case fans blowing cold air on expansion cards. 4 radioshack aluminum ramsinks attached with ASII. Blorb w/ ASII. I'm gonna try to mod some of this stuff by adding cutting and sanding old US silver dollars to make silver bases... maybe that'll help me get the GPU higher.

well for the good news.....the core doesnt matter much memroy bandwith does...i dont think youll find too much of a performance increase with core increase...
