How hot can memory get, to be more specific ddr2 800 memory..

I have 2 x 1 gig sticks of adata etreme + memory and geil 2x1 4-4-4-15 memory (dunno what type off hand).

Today i put everything together in a new case and everything runs fine, no hicups, i do need to stress test, but at just idle for a while i touched the ramsinks and man the adata are pretty hot, the geil were just as hot but a little less. My dad has a infared heat gun, ima shoot them when i get a chance to see...they are running at 1.8v at 5-5-5-18 currently.

1.8v is pretty safe for passive cooling.

I can say they were hotter to the touch than my cpu cooler, the freezer 7.
