X-Fi XtremeGamer, extra connections?

I own the X-fi Xtremegamer sound card and I was just wondering, are there any extra wires that should be connected either from mobo to the card or the dvd drive to the card? I just use a 2.1speaker set on the stereo audio output.
i see "f audio" port on my board.
