View Full Version : Crucial Ballistix PC-8500/Abit IP35 PRO
hello
i bought this modules 1 week ago ,and i cannot clock them as a i want
i cannot take more than 1100mhz.(5-5-5-15)
i check the dividers also and nothing.i would like to know if there is a wall at 1100mhz with settings or sth else .
here is a pic
What voltage are you using?
my timings is
(tCL) 5
(tRCD) 5
(tRP) 5
(tRAS) 15
(tRFC) auto or 43-52
(tWR) auto
(tWTR) auto
(tRRD) auto
(tRTP) auto
2T
at 1080 -1100mhz (2.2v)
but even more than 2.2v i dont take any boot more than 1100mhz
You could try increasing northbridge voltage.
Is that single or double sided memory?
ye it is a single sided.
i also try increase NB voltage but no results

No such thing as a guaranteed oc..mine run faster then yours but YMMV..

exactly. no OCs are EVER guaranteed. you may just have bad sticks.
omg i think that stick of crucial Sucksss
i have a Transend axeram kit 2x1gb 800mhz and i clock 1140mhz 5-5-5-15 (double sided/with N beside the codebar)
Single sided crucials appear not doing that well as double sided ones.
thats actually pretty good for the single sided modules.most can hardly maintain stock speeds from what ive seen.
guys i need ur help.
i am thinking to buy a new kit 2x1gb or 2x2gb would u suggest me anything ???
thanxs in advance .
(i am thinking of G.skill 2x1gb 1066. do u know if this memory modules are single or double sided)
