Not sure if mine runs 1000. I can't find any info on it on the net, everwhere says discontinued so....

1000mhz is just a rating, it will run it fine.

It is rated x MHz at x-x-x-x timings, it can do looser or slower.

thats where I ran into it actually.... I got an email from newegg with a 10 dollar off coupon. hell, I can't complain for 80 bux I'll get 4 gigs. I almost wanna buy 2. but I don'tthink I need 8 gigs of memory at the moment, and I can use the 80 bux on food instead lol

damn it! just got paid. went to order... OUT OF STOCK
